Our dream at Climb NORA is to share the beautiful sport of rock climbing with Federal Way and the surrounding areas.

The idea for this project began when a group of passionate climbers wanted to tackle the access issues in their favorite sport. Washington is known for their breathtaking mountains and outdoor culture — yet there is no climbing gym between Seattle and Tacoma.

We decided to bring climbing to a community without it — Climb NORA is on a mission to bring an equitable rock climbing gym to Washington’s Southside communities.

We put local communities at the forefront of Climb NORA and our hearts. With diverse roots grounding the team to build a gym where access meets outdoor grit, Climb NORA is breaking ground in Fall 2025.
